Judo vs. Black Dragon Fighting Society

After several attempts to get John Creeden and Bill Aguair of the Black Dragon Fighting Society to accept a challenge to fight in an MMA event, Creeden, the self appointed mouthpiece for the group, yet again avoided the challenge. The event in Dover, Delaware that Creeden named as a suitable, neutral location to schedule a fight turns out to be non-existent. He lied about the event hoping that Shepherd wouldn't call his bluff; however, Shepherd is following up on every lead in order to set up this fight, so it was quickly learned that the Delaware event doesn't exist.
Instead of accepting the challenge, Creeden continuously bluffs to avoid it. His most recent attempt to avoid fighting Shepherd was sent in an email stating he would fight at the "Combat in the Cage" event in New Jersey, but to assure it doesn't happen, he added that he wanted $25,000 to fight. Does this sound familiar? For someone who hates Ashida Kim, he has definitely followed his examples. Bill Aguair has stated that John Creeden is a professional fighter with 40 fights. Shepherd agreed, and yet, Creeden added yet another stipulation in order to back out of fighting. He says that he'll only fight no rules, bare knuckle. So, as you can see, getting this "professional fighter" into the ring has become an undertaking that seems too difficult to accomplish. Shepherd will be contacting the MMA event in New Jersey to see if Creeden and Aguair have indeed contacted the promoters. In the mea ntime, the "mighty" Black Dragon Fighting Society has since blocked Shepherd's IP Address from posting another challenge on its site. It sounds like they have been called out on all their bluffs, and the "great" BDFS should from this point forward be referred to as the "Black Dragon Don't Fight Society." Shepherd has issued a challenge that he would fight the group in one of their so-called “death matches” in a Dojo in Chicago amongst Count Dante’s own people to be filmed and used in Floyd Webb’s documentary. Stay tuned for Creeden's next set of excuses and bluffs because it's apparent he is a fraud and has now been found out.
Challenge turned down once again August 12, 2007
Once again Barron Shepherd has reiterated his interest in fighting 3 members of the so-called Black Dragon Fighting Society by issuing yet another challenge to the group. And, once again that challenge went by the wayside with yet another excuse as to why the group won't do it. Shepherd worked with organizers of an event held in Kansas and the Cap caged mma event in Kentucky who agreed to put the fights on their card.
Upon learning of the event the group's mouthpiece, John Creeden, said he wanted the site of the fight to be in a neutral state. While Creeden continues to come up with new rules each time a fight is presented to him, Shepherd is disappointed at the latest turn-down because he sees Kansas as a state that is, "as neutral as it gets for both fighters." It is becoming painfully obvious that no matter the location or the date, the "Black Dragon Fighting Society" will run from this fight.
Barron Shepherd has since contacted John Creeden about setting up a fight in Dover, Delaware where Creeden has mentioned numerous times he "would" fight. Creeden said he would fight at the event in Dover, so Shepherd has taken the opportunity to ask for the contact information and will work with organizers to get the fights on the card. We'll keep you posted on the response from the group, but don't hold your breath because if history is any indication, another excuse is on the way.
INTERNET BULLIES ANSWER CHALLENGE TO FIGHT By Kenn Kerr August 8, 2007
After hearing of Barron Shepherd’s challenge to meet in a sponsored MMA event, the answer is an emphatic no. Instead of putting their money where their mouths have been for the past 3 months, Black Dragon Fighting Society ringleader, John Creeden, says he would rather fight Ashida Kim, a fighter in his 60’s. For months, John Creeden and Bill Aguiar have ruthlessly harassed Floyd Webb and Shepherd as they work to produce a documentary on the life Count Dante. After months of harassing phone calls, threatening emails and less than flattering blog postings, Shepherd issued a challenge to meet each of the bullies from Fall River, Massachusetts, in the squared circle one at a time. However, the response Shepherd received was not what he expected.
John Creeden answered the opportunity “to put up or shut up” by saying he only wanted to fight behind closed doors, and that he only wanted to fight Ashida Kim who isn’t involved in the making of the documentary at all. Shepherd will press on in an attempt to draw the two bullies out from behind the keyboard and meet in an event that will pit both Creeden and Aguiar in separate matches against Shepherd. Stay tuned for more information on any upcoming fights, and we’ll find out if the bullies come out of the shadows or stay behind closed doors like most bullies do.
Judo vs. Internet bullies
A challenge has been issued by Barron Shepherd a judo black belt to the group who call themselves the Black dragon fighting society. Members of this group have a long history of harassing people over the internet their latest subject of Internet terrorism has been Shepherd and his family thru phone calls and email. Shepherd has issued a challenge demanding to meet any three of them in the ring in separate bouts at a single mma event. The event will have media coverage as well as possible coverage in an upcoming documentary.
Harrassing phone calls and emails have been sent by Black Dragon fighting society members John Creeden and Bill Aguair for the past several months from Fallriver Ma. to Polk city and Winter Haven, Fl. along with emails to Shepherd and a business associate threatening violence to anyone affiliated with Shepherd. Shepherd is issuing the challenge to them both, in hopes that they will accept. Arrangements have been made to hold the event in one of several locations located in Florida and Chicago or possibly Biloxi, Ms.

Court Today has ended... Veryyyyyyyyy Interesting time in Federal Court in Boston today. I will not say anything. It will all come out in Justia next week. I am cool though. Gonna leave you all in suspense until it hits the public record. Aguiar does have a lawyer at last. This should make all the other deliberations easier now he has professional assistance. He has some hurdles meanwhile.

I thought the 5th ammendement is reserved for criminal cases but it appears that may not be true.From Wikipedia:The Fifth Amendment protects witnesses from being forced to incriminate themselves. To "plead the Fifth" is a refusal to answer a question because the response could form self incriminating evidenceFifth Amendment protections apply wherever and whenever an individual is compelled to testify. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the right against self-incrimination applies whether the witness is in Federal or state court, and whether the proceeding itself is criminal or civil.So evidently the court is definately warning William about self-incrimination of some sort.Mike S

Federal courts are starting to recognize the dangers of online threats and intimidation and they are acting on these threats. I really would not want to be in their shoes.Mike S

There are always consequences for our actions. I would suspect that this 5th amendment thing could be just the start of some very serious legal problems, (not civil court) for some.Verne

Re: Court Today has ended... Mountains of trouble in store for Aguiar... and Creeden? I have a feeling that Creeden who deems himself untouchable is going to be in for a surprise if/when the judge subpoenas him into court. I can't imagine that he is just going to ignore him much further. Creeden should just be lucky that the judge dropped the case against Barron or those phone calls to his mom would be coming up too.

Ashida, Ashida, Ashida When all is obvious at this point that it is almost over old accusations arise again. As sanctions are placed on Aquiar it seems once again the conspiracy theory is brought back up. I have no busness relationship with Ashida Kim I do not employ him in any way shape or form nor do I or my wife have anything to do with him or his site what so ever. Ashida is neither related to me in any way as Creeden has also tried to claim in the past. Creeden yells he speaks the truth when all he has done is lie and make false accusations.Just because one of my homes is in Winter Haven a town whose population is over 30,000 in number(2006 consensus). Somehow this puts me in business with Ashida Kim. My other home in Indiana is John Cougar Mellencamp's home but does that put me in businees with him?Burt Reynolds once had a home in Winter Haven a few blocks of my home but that doesnt mean I knew him or was in business with him.Most of us live in a society that today many dont even know who lives a few houses away in our own neighborhoods. SO there again how does this make Ashida Kim a business associate. How does a over head picture of a nieghborhood which does not appear to be my neighborhood put me in businees with Ashida Kim.Again business associations with Ashida Kim do not exist in any way.I am sick of the accusations and if anymore legal action is brought against me or my wife I will start my own letigations for filing frivilous suits against me and my family. Dmca take downs: Ashida DID NOT represent me in any take downs NOR did he represent me in waving certain rights as Creeden has claimed. If there was any truth to us being in business together or that he was representing me we would still be in court.Youtube however recieved a email from me about two parties that were using either my name or likeness or my company's name and information taken from my site to thier benefit. My email simply stated that no one had permission to use me or badassfightwear.com in any way shape or form. One was using pics off my site the other was using me as an endorsement neither had my permission so BOTH partie's vids were removed.My email also stated that if they agreed to remove anything pertaining to me or badassfightwear.com that I would have no objection to them reposting the vids.Creeden's account became suspended when he refused to comply and kept posting other vids with information from Badassfightwear.com while Ashida Kim removed anything pertaining to me and reposted his vids.But rather than tell you the truth Creeden wants to continue with the charade that I am a business partner with Ashida Kim. My attorney has a copy of the email to youtube that I sent.My story from day one Has not changed. I do not have a youtube account where I post vids nor does anyone represent me that does so. There is no businees relationship with Ashida Kim or Dojopress or any of the youtube accounts that post stuff up in his behalf or anyone elses for that matter.

Truth is considering how angry you are, I really don't understand why you haven't brought suit against both Auiar and Creeden already. Aguiar for your attorney's fees and Creeden for the threats and harassment. Unlike me, you can afford it. As far as the video footage... you paid for it, it's legally yours. Creeden needs to grasp that "signatures" are not needed to make a sale final when you buy something. JUST GOT BACK FROM TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL

Wow my head is spinning , I got a Hudson pass which is really expensive it gave me access to all the short narratives and short documentary completion films you can't see them all. I sat in a seminar hosted by Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee and a lot of people who are really not known to me . But the exploits in cinema really got my juices flowing. Ester Robinson film film uncharted waters really was well done. Its a story of Danny Williams a friends of Andy Warhols factory. Williams disappeared in 1966 never to be seen again. The film reminded me of Dante/Keehan, but she did it with them remembering Williams on how bad they disliked him she still shot it. What moved me about it was Williams was her uncle. She cried before the introduction to the film. She never met him.

The gala event was awesome all the New York night life was their. I met some really interesting people at the bar. Its really interesting how people talked to you with a pass with your picture on it. I got to talking with people and they asked what I was doing their and I explained to them that I wanted to get into the film business. They asked that what do you want to do, I explained alot to them and made several contacts . The only reason I won't fight Barron is this I want "NO HOLDS BARRED" until then. I want a waiver for damages, I won't kill Barron but 2 or 3 months in the hospital is suitable for me.

Quite so! Let's consider this: Creeden talked his buddy into filing a lawsuit that had no merit. Creeden stole his buddy's film and sold it to Shepard. Creeden is the only one who has profited in any way from this debacle, and apparently no matter how many threats he makes to prove how demented he is, he doesn't have the balls to actually show up for a fight. He has made such a fool of himself on other internet forums that even some of the worst of those guys have recognized themselves in his stupidity and banned him and even mellowed out a bit. My only problem is this jackoff is still trying to stir up trouble and yet HE is never held accountable for it. But then, there are a lot more important things to be concerned with than this pitiful moron. Have no fear, karma will take care of him, and karma never fails, LOL Ashida Kim
